- I will be 16 in less than three months. Extremely weird.

The One Pinecone... No Joke!

A few years ago, our behind-the-house neighbor, Erica, took a trip to Lake Tahoe. When she returned, she gave me a present - a HUGE pinecone. She told us to cover it in peanut butter and sprinkle birdseed on it to make a very cool birdfeeder. When she came home this year, she brought us another!
Can't wait to make our new birdfeeder (I'm sure the birds can't either...). Thanks, Erica!

Two Little Ballerinas...

Sydney and Aubrey are so cute. Both are now taking the baby ballet dance class at Dance Etc. I watched Sydney this morning and helped these cuties get ready for dance.

They're just so big now! I remember when they were both tiny babies. I hope they're best friends forever.

Hilarious.

Mom: Sydney, is your little dog toy upstairs in my room?

Sydney: Yes.

Mom: You'd better go get it 'cause Mommy will be here soon.

Sydney, eyes still glued to TV, raises hand and points to Maddie, in the office, on the computer: There's Maddie, right there.

Happy Birthday, Charlie! (And Happy Valentine's Day Too, I Guess)

*Ahem... Yeah, a little late, but better late than never, right?*

Charlie Brown (a.k.a. Chaz, Chuck, Mr. Brown, Fat Cat, etc.) celebrated his 2nd birthday the Sunday before last (again with the "late" thing). Words cannot express how much he has meant to me. He's just a part of our family!
